Carol Gibbons
Carol is Divisional Manager with responsibility for ICT and International Service Sectors within Enterprise Ireland.
Carol has considerable experience in a variety of industry sectors, most notably ICT, within which she has worked directly with some of Ireland's best-known brands, from very early stage start-up companies, right through to globally trading multinational businesses.
Over her 20-year career Carol has held a series of senior positions within Enterprise Ireland, Forfás and IDA Ireland.
She has served on multiple internal committees, including Enterprise Ireland’s Industrial Research and Commercialisation Committee and Management Approvals Committee.
Carol served on several Irish Government advisory boards and high-level Steering Groups and Science Foundation Ireland ICT Center Steering Committees. She is currently a member of the Board of the Digital Hub Development Agency. She is also a member of the Institute of Directors.
Carol is a native of Cork. She is married with 3 children. She is a keen tennis player, an avid rugby supporter, enjoys a good read and loves to spend time outdoors especially the environs of Mayo and Donegal.
Anne-Marie Sassen
Anne-Marie is Deputy Head of the "Technologies and Systems for Digitising Industry" unit in DG CONNECT, European Commission. She coordinates the work of the European Commission, the Member States and Regions in setting up a network of Digital Innovation Hubs in Europe to enable all companies to benefit from digital technologies to improve their production, business processes and products.
Before joining the European Commission Anne-Marie worked as project manager for Atos in Spain and researcher for TNO in the Netherlands. She studied Computer Science at the University of Leiden, the Netherlands and received her PhD from the Technical University in Delft in the field of Human-Machine interaction.
Dr. Gillian Doyle
Dr. Gillian Doyle, is CEO and Co- Founder of Cerebreon Technologies, an insolvency-tech startup supporting the UK debt industry with deep learning and data to support the most vulnerable people in society.
Recently closing a seed investment round of £1.5m, Gillian is leading the expansion of Cerebreon’s commercial operations in the UK with top Insolvency firms and Tier 1 banks.
Gillian combines her role as CEO with an extensive technical career in the debt industry where she led technical teams within data analytics, machine modelling and system development fields.
She is a graduate of Microsoft’s Global Scaleup Programme and recently she won a place on Accenture’s highly competitive Fintech Innovation Lab to work with the UK’s leading financial institutions.
Gill completed her PhD in nanophysics at University College Dublin and is a strong advocate of supporting her community by hiring locally in conjunction with the Irish Government
Greg Tuohy
Greg began working with Cantec as a junior salesman building his way up to Sales Director and shareholder in 2005. Greg is now the Managing Director of a new merger between Cantec Waterford and Cantec Limerick.
Cantec has emerged from a company selling single photocopier, printer or scanner units, to a company selling a number of technological advances to large companies. The printing world has changed dramatically, and Cantec is at the forefront of these developments. A core part of the business is providing consultancy services, specialist software and hardware integrated systems.
Clark Boyd
Clark Boyd is a digital strategy consultant, author, and trainer. Over the last 12 years, he has devised and implemented international marketing strategies for brands including American Express, Adidas, and General Motors.
In addition to his work with the Digital Marketing Institute, Clark also works with the University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, and Columbia University.
Clark is a certified Google trainer and runs Google workshops across Europe and the Middle East. This year, he has delivered keynote speeches at leadership events in Latin America, Europe, and the US.
He gained his BA and MA degrees from the University of Cambridge.
